This statement from Yamini Rangan in the Whitney Johnson Disrupt Yourself podcast struck a chord with me today.
It reminded me of an art project I recently saw at the Design Museum in Copenhagen, a collaboration between Aepenton and the Design Museum Denmark. It was a shelf full of small glass syringe bottles, each labeled with a different emotion or mindset. The one that stood out for me was “Inner critic softener.”
It’s a timely reminder that self-doubt is normal, but it doesn’t have to define us.
As Yamini Rangan put it in the podcast: if you feel like you’re not good enough, that’s the starting point. Now go figure out how to become good enough.
