In a recent coaching session with Tony Latimer, MCC, I found myself exploring some deep-seated patterns and realisations that have been holding me back. Through this reflection, I discovered how certain ingrained beliefs and habits might actually be making my journey harder than it needs to be.
One question that surfaced during the session was: What would I lose if I let go of these old ways of doing things? This question opened up new perspectives on how I approach my work and what it truly means to step into my own space with confidence and ease.
What I particularly love about Tony’s approach to coaching is its simplicity: according to him, coaching is defined as helping someone achieve absolute clarity on three key areas—where they are now, where they need to be, and what they need to do to get there. This framework serves as a solid foundation, guiding the conversation and enabling the client to navigate and explore their thoughts and feelings.
The experience reminded me of the power of coaching to help us gain that “vantage point”—to look at our choices and mindsets from a higher, clearer perspective. It was about learning to work with what truly serves us rather than carrying around outdated baggage that only weighs us down.
For those curious about coaching, this kind of space can be transformative. It offers a way to see what’s holding you back, to explore your path forward with more clarity, and to reconnect with who you really are.
Thank you, Tony, for a wonderful session!
