Interested in Coaching in Education (‘pure’ or ‘instructional’)? – Let’s Connect!

I’m currently exploring how coaching—whether instructional or pure coaching—can support school improvement and staff wellbeing, and I’d love to hear from fellow educators and leaders. I firmly believe that coaching has a place in education for every member of staff.

I’m curious to hear:

– When you think of coaching, what’s the first thing that comes to mind from your experience?

– What challenges have you faced in supporting staff growth and development at your school?

– How do you currently use coaching or mentoring to support your staff?

I teach Coaching Skills at Abingdon and Witney College and have recently contributed to a publication for Routledge on coaching and mentoring in Modern Foreign Languages (due to be published later this year). I’m passionate about how coaching can unlock potential in both staff and students.

I’d love to connect with headteachers, senior leaders, middle leaders, anyone aspiring to those positions, and anyone with an interest in coaching.

If you’re interested in discussing these ideas further or sharing your experience, feel free to reach out to me directly. I’d love to connect and exchange insights! https://candidajavaid.co.uk/contact/
