Coaching

As a coach and educator with many years of experience in schools, universities and public service, I work with mid‑career professionals who feel stuck in their working lives and want to create what comes next on their own terms.

Your career has not been a straight line. It has involved growth, compromise, unexpected turns and responsibilities you never saw coming. Now you may find yourself at a point where the old way of doing things no longer fits: you might be questioning your role, considering a change, or trying to reshape work that once felt right but now feels heavy. At these thresholds, having a thoughtful companion can bring clarity, steadiness and relief.

My role is to support your next evolution, professionally and personally, in a way that honours both your experience and your wellbeing. Drawing on my background in coaching, adult learning and reflective practice, I help you build the insight, confidence and practical next steps you need to move forward in a world that is not going to stop shifting.

My Journey

Twenty years ago, I had my first encounter with coaching – an experience that would profoundly shape my life. It sparked a decision that changed everything: leaving Cologne and relocating to the UK to pursue a career in teaching. My love for the English language and the desire to immerse myself in an English-speaking environment fuelled this move.

For the first decade, I lived in the Southwest of England, cherishing the coastal proximity and the warmth of the people. Coaching remained in the background, yet one particular session in Cologne stayed with me—a conversation by the Rhine that helped me realise a significant change was ahead.

Teaching was both rewarding and challenging. As an assistant headteacher, I worked alongside an inspiring colleague who reintroduced coaching into our academy trust. Seeing the impact on teachers reignited my passion for coaching. When mentoring early-career teachers, I focused on giving them space to explore their ideas and discover their own solutions. Coaching became my most trusted tool—one that deepened my connections and helped others unlock their potential.

In 2022, I took a decisive step: I trained as an ICF Integrative Coach, earning an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Coaching. Now, I bring this expertise to my coaching practice, helping others gain insight, confidence, and clarity in their transitions.

What I offer

Coaching provides a dedicated space to think, reflect, and regain clarity on what truly matters to you. Whether you’re at the start of your career and want to make a strong beginning, or you’re mid-career and seeking to make more aligned choices—especially when facing challenges or feeling held back—coaching offers support in a kind, reflective, and empowering environment.
